On one of our photogroffee trips this weekend past, we came across this Intertype linecasting machine at Whipple Tree Junction. It looked like it had been there for quite some time. I have posted a few more shots of this in my latest GDC post. More shots in this post after the cut.
Ya that was a cool machine huh? I think we were all drawn to its derelict awesomeness during that trip. I have a few photos of it as well, but I haven’t checked them to know if they are post worthy yet. I should get on that. But your above photos are awesome.
P.S. Did we ever figure out if it was Wippletree or Whippletree? It seemed like there was some inside story to their constant mixing of spellings in that junction.
