today, the Wolfbeat interview with myself was on Village 900 at Noon until 12:30. whoops, i thought it was on at 3 or 4 for some reason.
that’s when resonance is on, on fridays. anyway! i hope some people heard it.. i know that a lot of people listen to Village 900, though i am not so sure any of those people read my blog. heh heh heh.
robin on the producer’s board.
the neat thing about doing a pre-recorded show is that you can edit it later. the producer of the show happened to be Robin Miller, who i worked with at BC Hydro around this time last year. man, now that i think about that job, it was so weird. i mean, totally fun, but strange. going to schools and talking to these classes of young kids and putting on these plays — every day was pretty much an adventure.
on thursday i am talking to an ACP class about my experience with being on the radio, in particular my bit with that old commercial radio station that i used to be on. it will be the first time in a while that i have talked to a college class about my experience. after talking to grade 7’s for BC Hydro though, a college class is a walk in the park. maaaaan, some of those kids were just out of control!
cool!!! what does “acp” stand for? some sort of communications class i take it?
go robin miller! go bc hyrdo!
woooooooooooohooooooooooo!
it was a weird job though, wasn’t it davin?
grins and nods at your grade 7 comment… we teachers are nuts nuts nuts!
Dude, I do hope you have something to say to them about how not only you, but a whole culture that was picked up by this commercial radio station, were dropped like a hot potatoe without any remorse on the part of the station. I know I am not the only one who thinks you folks as well as us the listening audience got a raw deal on that. It comes down to ethics, which were completely ignored on that occasion.
I know you will do well Davin; I think you’ll quite enjoy it.
Random Congrats! 🙂
I am really looking forward to the presentation on Thursday! w00t!
