the trip started out in victoria and up island, through nanaimo, then left on the port alberni highway, stopping along little qualicum falls and cathedral grove as well as a few spots along the highway on the way to tofino. on our way back we stopped at ucluelet and some cool places along long beach where there were neat trees that looked like they were from another planet.

Looks like a fun trip. Cold, but fun. Lots of opportunity for good photo taking. I’m about due for another photo-centric trip.
Davin Great Pics, Email me sometime, it would be good to go out and photocoffe.
Little Qualicum Falls & Englishman River Falls = suspiciously similar. I think they were cloned. I have been to both and weeks afterward I’m never quite sure which one I just went to. Also Fun Fact = we chose a lot of the same photo subjects. Photonerds.
That second shot is absolutely gorgeous, i love love it.
Davin, these images of the island are really fabulous. I think you’ve really captured the remoteness really well.
love the second shot with the rays of sun piercing through the trees, and the shot of the arbutus trees reaching up into the blue blue sky. just gorgeous!
the rays of sun through the trees shots were spectacular
